COVID-19 syndication loans are targeted at later-stage startups, which already have, for example, a venture fund or a family office on board. With this loan facility, your company can supplement an investment from your investor with a loan from Vaekstfonden.

What is a COVID-19 Syndicated loan?
With a syndicated loan, investors who are approved for the scheme can match their investments in startups with a loan to the company in a ratio of up to 1:3. This means that when your investor invests in your company, you can also be offered a loan by Vaekstfonden.
This loan facility thereby helps to secure increased access to capital for Danish startups, while at the same time making it more attractive for the investor to invest in your company, which will in general attract more capital and more competencies to Danish startups.
The individual investor must be approved by Vaekstfonden to use the scheme. After that, it is up to the individual investor and the company when the loan facility should be brought into play.
